Battery Storage
Store the energy you generate. Use it when you need it.
Solar panels generate most of their energy during the day, but most households use most of their energy in the evening. A home battery storage system bridges that gap, letting you use your own clean energy around the clock, wherever you are in Scotland.

Why home battery storage changes everything
Without a battery, any solar energy your home doesn't use immediately is sent back to the grid and doesn't power your home. A home battery storage system stores that free energy so you can use it later, cutting your bills and reducing your reliance on the grid across Scotland..
Beyond self-consumption, a battery gives you the ability to charge during cheap overnight tariffs, saving up to 70% on the normal rates, monitor your savings in real time via the battery app, and with the correct hardware, protect your family and home against unexpected power cuts.
We supply four of the leading battery brands on the market, each with different strengths. Our surveyors will help you choose the right capacity and system for your home.

Sizing guide
How much battery storage do you need?
Battery capacity is measured in kilowatt-hours (kWh). As a guide:
Covers roughly half a day's usage from storage. Good entry-level option for smaller homes or lighter energy users.
A full evening and overnight for most homes. The sweet spot for the average Scottish household with 3–4 bedrooms.
Premium capacity with whole-home backup potential. Ideal if you want full energy independence or are planning for an EV.
Our surveyors will look at your actual usage data, panel size, and future plans to recommend the right capacity so you're not over or underspending.
Add-on service
Charge your car on sunshine
If you drive an EV, or you're planning to. Adding a smart charger to your solar and battery setup is the logical final piece. Rather than drawing from the grid, your car charges on energy your roof generates, at effectively zero cost.
EV charging isn't our core focus, but we can include a smart charger installation as part of your solar project so you're not managing a separate contractor. Just mention it when you book your survey and we'll factor it in.
